Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. -Rossiter Worthington Raymond

This memorial website was created to remember our wonderful little Luke Grant (William Lucas).  Luke was born on June 2, 2010 and passed away on November 22, 2010, he was 5 months 20 days old.   His life and story continue through all those whose life he has touched.

Please see on the left where you can read part of Luke's "life story" (written by Luke's mom), share memories, read "Notes to Luke", see some of our tributes to Luke, and / or light a candle.  Luke's family and friends greatly appreciate all the support and love.

Luke is missed so much; words cannot aptly describe it. Even though his time on this Earth was painfully short for all of us going through this life long journey of grief, we have peace and eternal love in having known Luke. His smile, chubby cheeks, and long lashed eyes will always be a source of happiness and strength to his family and friends.  Many of us look forward to being with Luke someday and some of us feel his spirit checking in on us, all of us whose life he has touched know more clearly what love is.

"And can it be that in a world so full and busy the loss of one creature makes a void so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of eternity can fill it up!"-- Charles Dickens (1812-1870)

For those whom have asked about memorial contributions in memory of Luke and if you wish to make a donation it will help a needy family receive quality childcare, please see YMCA Luke Grant Memorial tab on the left.
